I have set up a password protected page on my website that will serve as a coupon for selected customers.
once a person receives an email with the password, they will be instructed to open the page & print the page/coupon.
how can i establish this page/coupon with a function allowing the user to print directly from the webpage & the user DOES NOT need to
"save image" to their computer, open it & print is as a file?
My desire is to maintain a professional looking business & website, reducing personal email to individual customers in addition to making it as easy on the customer as possible.

If it is not possible to apply this particular function to an image or page on intuit hosted sites, could someone suggest alternatives?

Hi Brandy8843,

Welcome to the Community!

Please visit: printing html to get the code needed to have a print button. They do give you a little extra code to try and market their website, but you only need the script to script html section. When you add that code to your website using the html element, it will generate a button for people to click in order to print the page. You will also notice in the code that you can change the wording from what the button says (right now it says click), to the wording (right now it says To Print this page!).

You may want to put the coupon on it's own page so when they print the page it will just have the coupon.

Hope this helps!

Hi Brandy,

Welcome to the community!

I would place nothing but the coupon itself on the password protected page that way when they print the page it's just the coupon being printed without any other content on the page.

Sitebuilder does not have a print button feature - However, you can add a print button using html code and the html element in sitebuilder.

I did a search for print button html code and came across this site, :: How do I add a print button to a web page?, which you may find helpful if you're not familiar with html coding.

I hope this helps, thanks for posting!
