I have a png/ jpeg image that I would like to add to my signature. The Preferences menu bar has a very limited interface, allowing me to type a signature but not format the text in any way (eg italics, bold, qualifications in smaller typeface)
I want to make the signature look professional and inc graphical elements

Unfortunately this is one of the differences in the two systems. The next best thing would be to customize the signature with HTML. If you are not well versed in HTML, you can use a tool such as this one; http://htmlsig.com/ to generate the code.

If this post helps, please give a "Star" and complete this survey to rate me.

Thanks!

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
New Email Host, Horrible Delivery!.

I received a message that my email has been switched over...the layout seems great and all, but how can I create a custom signature? The signature section only allows plain text...ALSO, I cant set up the Auto-Response. Another thing that I loved was the fact that I was able to use the Zimbra mailbox offline instead of having to use Outlook, which I dont have and now have to purchase! This is INSANE! I need assistance ASAP for the sake of my business, which I'm actually swamped with customer requests...

Mike F. is right. The new email uses HTML to view pictures etc.. go to: http://htmlsig.com to set up your signature. At the bottom of the page there is a blue "View Code" button. click the button. Cut and paste this code into into your email signature box, then edit it as you see fit. Or if you don't know what you doing fill out the form with your name and info and click the blue button for the HTML code and cut and past that into your email signature box then hit save. For you non familiar people with HTML play with deleting sections of the code you don't want: for example to delete the face book icon back space the facebook code. (all the codes are a certain length and look the same- you'll figure it out. If you cut and paste the HTML code for the example, that 's what you'll get. Play with it a bit. We'll make you HTML code readers in no time... And I don't even work here!

I really wanted to love this, this was a really helpful hint. But, I'm not HTML savvy. I want to put my signature at the bottom of my emails with my LinkedIn info.

The signature in the signature generator looked awesome, but in my email it is sized funny and looks horrible. I'm deleting it and starting again.

I'll report if I find another signature generator that works differently.

It seems to be okay now. I did have trouble yesterday, some emails were okay and some emails showed the code at the bottom. I didnt have the time to try to figure it out so I just sent those without a signature line. not very professional looking .....

Good lord, now you want me to waste my time and my employees time on learning how to do codes??? have you guys lost your minds? This is more work then it needs to be....you are doing the codes in order to set all this up, why is it such a big deal for you to set up the codes and make this option accessible to us PAYING customers. This topic is crazy, it starts with what looks like a customer complaint not a solution to anything...I am ssssssssssssssooooooooooo frustrated I am about to blow my top! I will come back another time and try this crap...right now I am extremely frustrated!
