2. You can go directly to the OpenXchange site by typing in the url, ie. "https://emailmg.homestead.com " or "https://email.yourdomain.com" . The following page will appear. Be sure to include the"https" when typing the url.

,
There are several ways to access your email. You can use whichever method is the most convenient. Follow the steps in this thread. If you still have problems let us know which method you are using.

I don't think I asked the question properly. Let's try again. I'm organizing a run and using a form to have people register. I would like their email to send them a reminder closer to the run. There are probably 400 runners. Is there a way to do this, aside from cutting and pasting 400 times? Thanks, Nancy

With the Homestead form, you will need to add each runner to a distribution list manually. You would also need to have at least 2 lists, as we place sending limits to help avoid being marked as spam. Emailbrain and Mailchimp are a couple of good ones.

email nightmare.
I can't access my homestead email from my default program, Windows Live mail, which has worked for the last couple of years. Live chat was useless, time suck with no resolution. I can't even access my email from webmail (live chat could but that didn't help me) the homestead email is available on my phone but I am usually being sent large documents that I need to print...

The server at emailmg.homestead.com is taking too long to respond.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
- this is what happens when I try to log in thru www.homestead.com it might work but usually "times out". the open x-change server took about 30 minutes to load and i can't get in if I'm already logged into my homestead account. What's really frustrating is - sometimes the email works - but mostly not.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hugotree (info) account. A time-out occurred while communicating with the server.
Server: 'pop.homestead.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC19

Really!! e-mail is pretty important ...

this was the last message I received:
You have experienced an unexpected server error. We are working to resolve this problem as quickly as possible. Please try again later.
Because I'm probably not going to operate w/out security software and suddenly my system isn't compatible with homestead, I'm basically out of luck?

I work from a desktop using a T-Mobile hotspot (only fast internet available here)
My android/T-Mobile phone has homestead e-mail set up and there seems to be no problem.
I am forwarding those emails to my personal email to work.
I haven't changed anything lately - a few months ago when homestead changed the email something I had to reset the POP - I had live support that walked me thru that and it worked OK - couldn't sync w/my phone after that. So I could see all the e-mails from either place but could only delete from the computer/PC. Yesterday I did log in once and was able to clear out all the old emails and empty the trash folder.

Here is one free site you can use. You may want to test it multiple times from various locations and keep track of the results (packet loss, latency, jitter).
http://freeola.com/line-test/
Or, if you contact your ISP they will probably have a test that you can run also.
