What ideas can you give us for improving your domain manager?  Here's what we have so far.

1) I want to be able to register more different extensions, like the new .ninja and others.

2) For some DNS records the system requires a longer CNAME that your site allows, so I have to call and have you add it.

3) Please allow me to add my own TXT records to my domain.

If you agree, please like this topic.  If you have other ideas, please let us know.

New Domains Are Coming. We Need To Be Able To Land Them..

How soon will Homestead be offering some of the new web domains that are coming? .com .net and .biz are going to have a lot of industry-specific competition such as .menu, .motorcycle, .consulting and so forth. Business owners need to be on top of the changes.

Add txt or longer CNAME record to domain for site verification.

Can you make it possible to add a txt or longer CNAME record to a domain name for site verification?

I would prefer not getting an email notice that a domain I deleted several months ago is due for renewal.  It causes anxiety and now I need to call Homestead and see if it will actually renew.  It is not showing on my account. I think this has happened before.  If it has been deleted, why do I receive a notice it will be renewed?

Hi Kenneth9111,  Sorry for the confusion.  Even though the domain may be deleted from our system, it is still registered in your name until it actually expires and the actual domain registrar occasionally sends out emails. However since our system is what controls weather or not it will be renewed, as long as its deleted from your account on our end, it will not get renewed.
