How Can I run a Trace Route?

If you are having problems connecting to Homestead.com please follow the steps below to run a Trace Route.




1. Open the Run box using pressing the Windows key +R. 


2. Type “CMD”  and press “Enter” to open the
command prompt

3. Next, at the prompt enter tracert
homestead.com
and allow it to finish. 



The tracert command will produce a report that looks like below.







Take a screenshot of the report and paste it into a reply on this thread.

I still cannot access homestead.com nor my email through any browser (3 types).  My email client (IMAP) still works fine and to my knowledge I get all mail and am able to send without problems.  However, I'm not sure if it's related, but for 4 days I have gotten Mail Delivery errors making it clear my mail is hacked.  But obviously I cannot access it to change the password.

Any update on this issue for me?  I just got another "unable to deliver" email message and really want to be able to log in to change my password and stop this spammer using my work email address.

Phil4449, it isn't the browser.  There is a connectivity issue for some users connecting to homestead.com.  We are working to resolve it.  If you coul run the trace route and provide us your ip address it would be appreciated.

Update: This should now be resolved, though propagation might take some time for some people.  Try clearing your browsing history and trying again.  You can read here what the issue was.
