Setting a Sale Price
If you want all your customers to be able to purchase the product at the discounted price, and you wish to have the "crossout" retail price display, then setting a sale price is your best option.
1.) Login to your store's control panel.
2.) Either add a new product, or edit an existing one.
3.) On the Details tab, scroll down beneath the Product Description until you find the Price bow.
4.) Click the More Price Options link.
5.) Now, you'll see three more fields display: Cost Price, Retail Price, and Sale Price. To have your prices show up with the Retail Price (RRP or MSRP) crossed out and the sale price bold and in a different color, you must place a price in both the Retail and Sale Price fields. Also, the Retail Price and Price fields must be higher than the Sale Price field. Here's an example:
6.) Once you've done this, click Save & Exit.
Repeat the process as necessary for your products. If you plan on doing this process for all your products, you may wish to look into bulk exporting and importing with a CSV.
