That took a lot of work and that is why people pay a lot of $$$$ for SEO work. I may quit tutoring and just do SEO, one of these days.

You might find the information in this topic to be helpful. For meta tags specifically, they haven't really been used in the last several years (Google Webmaster Blog on meta keywords). The main things I would recommend spending time on is the actual text that appears on your pages and your page name & description (updating your page name and description in SiteBuilder Plus).
I hope that helps and if you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask.

You can't focus on just your site; you have to do stuff outside of it.
I can give you some free advice. Email me:

Great suggestion. I would just advise to make sure to take some time to research on the keywords you choose for any ads since the cost per click can vary quite a bit depending on the keywords.
Also depending on the search engine, where ads are displayed can vary quite a bit and research does show most visitors click on organic listings (ie not ads), but if you are look for fast traffic, it can be a great place to start.
I haven't personally run any ads for my online store; mostly because I sell jewelry (geeky jewelry that isn't very expensive) and having jewelry as a keyword was pretty pricey the last time I had personally looked, so I would just pay attention to what you are paying per click and your conversation rate to make sure it is a good fit and the ads are working well for you.
I hope that helps and thanks for the suggestion Paul9963.
Sincerely,

By the way, is Homestead knowingly spreading the Yontoo (Topic Torch) virus? It covers the screen with ads,
- 62 Points
If i published my page why is not showing in the web.
-

In regard to Philip8977's comment about Yontoo, this is something that Homestead is not spreading. It is adware that is a browser ad on which can be downloaded to your computer when you're downloading software. We are not affiliated with Yontoo in any way.
If you see ads or hyperlinks (text links) on your website that you did not add yourself, it's most likely adware that you can remove doing an antivirus scan.
Please let me know if you have any questions, thank you.

Among the suggestions above, we do offer SEO (search engine optimization) as well as PPC (pay per click) advertising, which are paid services.
You can learn more by clicking Add-on Services > Get more customers
Hope this info helps, thanks!

Not very good is it?This is a serious issue with Intuit and even after 5 months of using this site I can only get traffic to my page by sending a link or telling people where to go. This is no way to get exposure on the internet.
So am I supposed to name my business and call myself "google Local Upholstery Englewood, Port Charlotte, Sarasota, Venice, Florida Area, custom sewing, enclosures" etc etc etc?
I can't understand why this would not be the very first thing Intuit fixed or outlined with the videos that have everything BUT this issue. There simple is no way to submit meta tags or register anything to a search engine anywhere. It took me me 4 months to even find the page with the link on Google.
I simply give up. I'll pay someone to build my page register the domain and get a server. I need to get work and customers and this just is NOT WORKING!
got to www.stitchshifter.com because you will never find it otherwise.

Don't forget to look for stitch shifter designs on metacafe vimeo youtube and many more. the only thing you won't find is my web page because its is on Intuit.

1. Get you domain registered on the major search engines. Just follow the steps in this thread.
2. Another option is to use our Weblistings. This is generally my first recommendation for new websites. You can think of the Weblisting as the new "modern day" phone book. We'll get you business listed in a large number of online directories and it will get pickup up by the search engines as well.
Let me know if you have questions.

I created my website some weeks ago but when I search for it using key words on my home page, it's still not coming up on the top. I've added Traffic Booster to my account as well and thought this would help. Please let me know what can be done to get my site on top in the search engine lists. Thanks.

I have already ordered traffic booster for my account with Homestead. I also purchased Web Listings in addition to the traffic booster. If you type in my web address kays pc and web design on google you can see my site as well as do this for bing. But, I am wondering how to not type all of this in and get seen on google and bing.

Your site is still very new so it will take some time to earn a reputation on the internet. The best thing you can do is really focus on the organic SEO process as well. You have a lot of text on your site, but it's very general and which is going to make it hard to rank/compete against your competitors. You will probably want to start by learning the SEO process or actually hiring someone to do it for you. If you are interested I can have one of our consultants give you a call to discuss your business and quote you a price, or we do sell an SEO eBook (one time fee of $50), which is a great place to start.

The only thing I can really recommend is that you either have us (or another professional) optimize the site for you. The industry that you are in, and the key words you have chosen are very competitive. For example if you do a keyword search on Google for "Senior Care in GA", you will see that there are over 77 million results. If you decide you wish to optimize the site on your own, you'll just need to start educating yourself on how the search engines work, and what you need to do to your site. SEO takes a lot of time and knowledge. If you read this 32 page guide published by Google, you will have a better understanding. https://static.googleusercontent.com/...
From a business perspective, you might reconsider the $150 SEO plan. Is the cost of not being found on the search engines greater than paying the $150 per month. What is your average customer net worth? If your site were able to get you just 2-3 customers per month, would the SEO not pay for itself?
I hope this helps.
