The "Thanks For Your Order!" page is what displays after your customers sucessfully checkout from your store, and signifies the status of the order (usually either Awaiting Payment or Awaiting Fulfillment, depending on the payment gateway. This order page can be edited to display certain information, including your own custom text.  Alternatively, you can take out some of the default information, including the Top Sellers panel.  You will need some knowledge of HTML/CSS.

1.) Login to your store's Control Panel.
2.) Click on Design.

3.) Click on the Template Files tab.

4.) Scroll down to the order.html file and click Edit. This is your "Thanks For Your Order!" page.

5.) Now you will see the code for the order.html page (which displays as finishorder.php when checking out as a customer).  Here are a few examples of changes you could make:

Change the "Thanks For Your Order!" Text

Add Additional Information e.g. Processing Estimates

Replace/Remove the Top Sellers Panel

These three were simply examples of the types of changes you could implement.  Please remember, however, that anything specifically written (meaning, not a variable) will display on all customers' order confirmation pages, regardless of what their order status is, what shipping method they used, etc.
