How can I add a twitter feed to my account?

Here are instructions to setup a twitter feed widget.

Get HTML code from Twitter

  1. Go to: https://www.twitter.com/settings/widgets


  2. Log in, then click thecreate new button in the upper right corner.


  3. Customize how you want the feed to appear. Then, click Create widget.

  4. A box with the html code appears in the bottom right under the preview tweets. Copy that code.


Add HTML code to website
  1. Click Websites Manager in the left navigation menu. Then, click Edit Site.


  2. Click Insert in the top toolbar. Then, select More option from the drop-down menu. Then, choose HTML.



  3. The HTML placeholder will automatically go to the upper left corner of your page. Click and drag the element to where you want it on your page.


  4. Then, click Enter or Paste HTML button in the HTML settings on the right.



  5. Remove the current text in the small window and copy in the html code you have for your widget.


  6. Save and Publish your website to see the twitter feed appear.HTML widget on your website.


Important: You need to use preview mode or publish your site to view your HTML code or widget. You can't see HTML elements in edit mode.

Hi! Thanks for the detailed instructions.  For some reason it is not working for me.  There is nothing where the twitter feed should be on the published page.  Any ideas?  I followed the instuctions exactly.  Thanks!

That would be fantastic! Is this what you are looking for?  http://www.sandburgptsa.org/School.html .  The principal generated the code from the twitter account and it previewed in twitter fine.  Thanks for checking it out!

I see the feed just fine.  When you visit the page, first hit the f5 key on your keyboard.  This should refresh the page.  If you still don't see it, then you may have a plug in installed that disables java in your browser.

Thanks!  I had no idea.  Your comment helped and I was able to "enable" the site with AdBlock Plus, and view the feed.  Thanks again!!!
