I just added a second website to my account and named it with a .com ending. I got the verification email from Homestead and I went through the verification and received a 2nd email informing me I would need to "change the name of the main page to Index" whatever that means. They don't explain what the hell they mean, and all I could find online was a 5-year-old post with photos of a system that does not look like the one I use. I did use my system to rename the main page to Index, saved it, published it, and when I enter my new .com url I still don't reach my website. I really wish Homestead would think further about how to provide complete communication and instructions instead of trying to make everything as brief as possible so that paying customers end up shafted. Can anyone please help?

I saw this already. It does not apply to the software I am using.

This is what happens when businesses try to shirk their responsibilities to provide after sales support and unload it onto a "community" of users. What BS! Imagine walking into any store at all and asking the sales people for help and they tell you "Unless you're here to buy, don't talk to me, but feel free to speak to other customers. Maybe they can help you." All businesses offering only this type of "help" should be ashamed, and OUT of business.

First we have phone support available as well. Also, the community is not a place where we are trying to reduce our responsibility. We do have business hours, and answer all questions as soon as we can. If a community member is here when we are not and is able to answer your question then that is better for you. In this case it was not possible for the member to know which software you were using, but they still tried to assist.
