I have an old page that people still visit. When people land on that page, I'd like to automatically redirect them to the updated version of the page. Is there a way to do that so it's transparent to the user? I'm using SiteBulder Plus.

Hello,

Are you wanting to redirect them to another page on that same website or an entirely different website?
If this new site was built in your Homestead account you can change the site association to connect you domain to the new website content. This will allow your visitors to use the same url but see the new information upon visiting. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/how_can_i_switch_my_domain_to_a_new_site_i_built

How are visitors currently getting to get to the page? We would want to update whatever element is being click on to take them to www.expressiveglass.com/mamasgarden.html to go to http://www.expressiveglass.com/mamasgardenavailable.html

I don’t know where the link is. If I knew that, I could fix it easily. Is there any map that shows this info?

Is there any way to change what the mamas garden link points to?

I see one link on the home page labeled  Mama's Garden - Retail and it does go to the new page.
Yes, you can edit links by highlighting the text and use the link button on the right. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/how_do_i_link_text_on_my_page

I understand that. I was looking through Google analytics and saw that people were still going to the old mamas garden page. I don’t know where that link is. It might be in old postings or a Google search that people find. What I want to do is automatically redirect people who have the old link so they land on the new page. As I said, I don’t know where those links are that people are clicking on. Can you help me?

I do not see any links to that previous page on the live website. It is possible it may be a google search result providing the old link still. You can request google to re-crawl your website so they can re-scan and update any search result links.

So there’s no way to “map” that link to my new page? I often see a message on other sites that says you’re bring redirected to another page. That’s what I’m asking.

You can set up a html redirect code to place on that page and route them to another page url. Unfortunately, you will need to search for a third party code outside of Homestead, we do not have a redirect code that I can provide.
