I want to record my voice and put it on my website. But Homestead won't accept windows media player. What's the best way to get my recording on my website in the proper format? I do have an iphone if that helps?

Hi Bob, from the app store download soundcloud, and record your audio. Then embed the html code to your HS site.

The result will have the look like this:

If you need your audio to be played automatically just change this bit of the code: "auto_play=false&amp" to "auto_play=true&amp"

If you need your audio to be played automatically in the "background" without the visual of the soundcloud player at all, just place a rectangle on top of the html box, making sure it is up in layers order and properly overlapping the html box. Like this:

(or just "hide" the html box "behind" some of your existing solid image or element)

For more elegant and HTML5 style solution you will need to find another platform for website editing.

You will need to convert the Windows Media Files to *.mp3 to to upload your audio files. Also, you can try uploading to YouTube and share the audio file that way.
