i have an HTML slideshow on my Home page. When I try to create a second page, it copies to the second page and I don't wan't the slideshow on all of my pages, just the main. How do I fix this, please?

Hi Rhonda not sure which version of builder you are using but in the new Websitebuilder there is a setting you can turn on and off for show on all pages. If you have inserted the HTML in the head section it will recreate on all the pages. If Sitebuilder + then,again, in page settings/advanced I think, scroll down there is a "this page only" button. If you cannot find it post back with which builder you are using.

Thanks, Brian. I am not sure what version I have but it doesn't look like yours... ? I previously had what yours looks like but when I opened up today to work on the site it's different,

Yep clue at the top Rhonda :) your using Websitebuilder, the new kid on the block so the top pic shows the selection for show on all pages. Now its a bit tricky to find but when you click on your HTML in edit mode do you get the size and position option. Off or ON does take a bit of trial and error, I remember I had fun with it a few months back so kept it turned off. IS the HTML at the very top of your page, to the left of the screen you should see a label like Header. IF the HTML is in there I don't "think"it can be turned off as its good practice to have all webpage headers the same. If you want to you can post your URL ( website address) here and we can take a look. Drew is one of Homesteads top techs and he will be around in here today so may well be able to give more advice.

It's not a header, it's body HTML imported from an HTML creator.

That's correct, you can still edit you websites built with SItebuilder+ but you cannot build a new site with that particular builder because any new website will be with the new Websitebuilder. So, in your Homestead account, under website Manager tab,if you select a Sitebuilder+ website, Wait for it to load in the box, and then click Edit the sitebuilder+ programme will load. Alternatively if you choose your new website, click Edit the new Websitebuilder will load. I did say finding the pesky settings was a bit tricky as it doesn't show under all elements. Hopefully Drew can look into your account and see what's the best solution.. in the meantime I will try and find it on my website.

LOL Ditto to both comments, been with HS since 1998 and yes Websitebuilder is a steep learning curve... Sadly past midnight here and I need to head off, Drew should be here soon, but f you can grab a screenshot of the page it will help him along. You will get there I am sure, will check back in the morning see how it went. Good Luck

OK, I think i solved the issue, kind of. When I started the website I replaced the things with my own data. For some reason it made all items added with the Header section. I am trying to do everything from scratch but the header/section thing isn't allowing the design i am making. Screenshot attached. All parts not marked need to be on front page. Subsequent pages need all that room for other photos and info..

You can delete the header portion, but if you have a logo or something you want in that area on all the pages you will need to add them to each page.
