I want to take an existing website that I built on the new platform and clone it.  We are opening a store in a different state  and I want to use the current website as the basis for the new one in the new city.  I know there is a way to do this, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Hey Rockerfeller

If the site is built in Website Builder, is cannot be duplicated. It would just be a matter of choosing the same template and rebuilding it. If you would like, you can look into our Design services, and we can rebuilt it for you. I can have someone call you to discuss pricing and what that would look like if you want.

I had exactly the same problem. I rebuilt the website and copied content. Once done, I deleted the old site. For me it was an opportunity to do a long overdue cull, change sone images and reword some info. I was glad for the forced nudge. Hope you find it as rewarding as I did. I am thrilled with my new website. One of the most exciting things for me was the drop down menus. Totally changed the ease of navigation on my site.

thanks for the reply.  The site builder used for this website is the new one that is responsive.  I get the name of the old one and the new one confused, but I think you are referring to the new builder.  Bummer.  I can rebuild it on my own but I was hoping it was as easy as one click!

Oh yes definitely referring to the new one. I wish we had an easier way, but you should be able to get it rebuilt pretty quickly since you already have the first built!

Since there is no "easy" way, the best thing to do is set up the same template in Website Builder, open the new site (just as a site) and cut/paste the duplicate content. Download your existing FILES and then just drag them into the new site.
