Any file that you upload to the internet can be crawled and indexed by Google. Unfortunately, we can do anything to stop it. You can tell the search engine to not index a page the file is attached to, but the search bots can still see the file.

Can you tell me how I would tell the search engine to not index a page the file is attached to. I really appreciate your response. If I were to put a password on the entire site would that help?

Here is how to tell them not to index the page, https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/hide_page_from_being_indexed

A password will not help much here and the no follow code will be limited in its help as well. Search engines can read the content and index the file directly, so it could still get found in search results, though it is less likely.
