I need to build a new site quickly and don't want to learn the new WebsiteBuilder interface right now. How do I opt to design in Sitebuilder Plus as I always have before even when that's not the design interface that comes up?

Hello,

I apologize, there is not a way to decide what builder to use upon adding a site. All new websites added in Homestead going forward will automatically be placed on the WebsiteBuilder platform. You can use one of your previous sites that are built in Sitebuilder plus and change the content but unfortunately we cannot add any new ones.

Thank you, though I'm very disappointed not to have any warning or option. I know that the new builder is much better, but sometimes one doesn't have the time to learn a dramatically new interface! Thanks again.

I definitely understand. There is always going to be that learning curve with new things but we are always here to help you make the process as smooth as possible. Here is a link to some helpful video tutorials on the new software that will help you get familiar with navigating WebsitrteBuilder. https://www.youtube.com/user/homesteadwebsites

Hi Michelle! Yes, I totally understand, and I think it's great that Homestead has this new interface. This just happened to be a situation where a client had a very unexpected, highly time sensitive need, so it wouldn't make sense to take on the work without using the interface I know like the back of my hand. But I'll enjoy exploring Websitebuilder for my own and clients' future projects, and again, many thanks for your prompt response.
