Here's a link to help you do it if you're using sitebuilder plus.

Be sure to follow the directions exactly or you'll create other problems. It's a fairly easy process that should take less than an hour.

If you're using desktop sitebuilder you need to switch to sitebuilder plus immediately as desktop users have reported numerous problems with solutions that only last a matter of weeks but usually only days.

If you're using the newer website builder you should contact homestead ASAP as sites built with that software should automatically be https compliant.

MAKE YOUR Websitebuilder WEBSITE SECURE?

When switching to the new builder going forward, if it does not automatically connect you can initiate the SSL with these instructions. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/websitebuilder-ssl-cnvdqnt2aqgpr

Julie, this is correct you are using the Sitebuilder simple store so unfortunately if you apply the cloud flare SSL it will block the connection to your store. When a customer visits your site currently it will show not secure until they go to checkout. Upon checking out, the site will display a secured connection but I understand this may deter a customer from even attempting to checkout if they don't see it secured initially.
I would recommend using and rebuilding in WebsiteBuilder to get the automatic SSL for both the website and the store. I understand rebuilding may take some time but it will be extremely beneficial in the long run for you, your customers and your online business.
