When adding or moving elements on a page (such as text boxes or images), I do not see a way to easily align them (center, left, right, bottom, top ....). Am I missing something or do I just continue to eyeball the alignment?

You can easily align elements on the page doing the following.

1.  Hold down the Shift key and then click/select the elements you wish to align. This will display a blue, or yellow box around the elements so that you can see everything that is selected.

2. After you've selected the desired elements, then look to the right side in the properties editor and you'll see the Align options like in the image below.

 3.  Also notice just above the alignment tools, there is an option labled "Group".  After you have your  elements properly aligned and positioned on the page, you can click the "group" check-box and it locks the selected elements into a group so you can click on them an move them simultaneously instead of one at a time.

4.  Save and publish the page when finished.

This answer is out of date.  The current software does not work like this.  Waste of time.

Actually Michael this does still apply to one of the builders that many people still use. Perhaps if you were to post a question and provide the builder you are using someone could help you.

I do not see the Align options, only the left/right/centre justifications.

I do wish there was a Tables feature (as in Microsoft Word) - it is frustrating when I space bar my text to align in a column but when I publish the text is jagged and out of alignment.

And I do not feel that using textboxes as an alternative is satisfactory.

Can you clarify please?

The align options will appear when you have multiple elements selected. This can be done by pressing and holding down the Shift key and then click/select the elements.

Maybe that was true a year ago when you wrote this but it is not true now....

In sitebuilder and sitebuilder plus you can right mouse click on an empty space on the page and you get a drop down menu, choose show grid, right click again and choose Snap to grid.. as you move text boxes and elements around they will automatically shift in the grid squares. Have a go, you will get the idea.
