I am trying to follow an advertiser's instruction that states "the code must be placed right after the <body> tag of all your pages." How do I do that?

Click on Insert > More > HTML then paste the code in the HTML box that will open on the page. You can then move the box to wherever you want it to show on the page.\

Right, that is for a traditional HTML box, which I am very familiar with. It needs to appear not as a piece of HTML code on a page, but at a deeper level, specifically "after the <body> tag." Thank you for your excellent instructions and the visual, but there is another answer.

HI Bob, Problem we have here is that we cannot access or edit the page code directly so not able to add code between the tags. The only other addition we can add in Sitebuilder+ is via page settings/ advanced/ and add HTML box. This however puts the code into the Head section not the body. Wish you luck with it but I do not believe it will be possible. But I have been wrong before so it may be best to wait for a tech guys to respond.

Yes, that's my diagnosis as well. But hope springs eternal.

I am sorry Bob, unfortunately in Sitebuilder there is no way to place code after the body tag. There is the HTML box which is in the body tag and there is the head section which places code before the body tag starts.

I am trying to set up gsuite which is gmail for business and it says to enter this code into the body section. So are you saying we are not able to do this? I don't see how this is an improvement. This new software has been such a nightmare to my staff and I. You cannot copy and so many other options you could do with the old software. I have made over 100 sites on homestead for my clients and I am now moving them one by one to big commerce because of all the limitations. I have been with homestead for over 11 years and always had great results until the switch. Too bad.

Desiree3755, You can't place code after the body tag, but you never have been able to. I am not aware of any reason you need to do this for Google Suite. What are you trying to do to setup? Verify the domain? Id so, use the alternate method from Google. Select domain provider. Select other from the list. Go to the domains tab in Homestead and click Advanced DNS settings. Add the TXT record and wait a few minutes. Then you should be able to verify.
