I have been building a new website under an existing Homestead account and now I want to transfer the website to its own Homestead account.

What is the site? Unfortunately, at this time Websitebuilder sites can not be moved to a different account. I can move Sitebuilder Websites. I will need to see what the site was built with. Is the account you are posting from here the new or old account?

Hi, this is the new site for the church. I have been working on the other site for a couple of days and it is for my church. I built the site below on my business Sitebuilder Homestead account and now that its done I want the church to have its own business account, which is this one.

The site where the website is sitting right now is: ourladyofsorrowsparishct.homesteadcloud.com.

Unfortunately, that site is built with the new Websitebuilder program. At this time I am not able to move those sites to a new account. This is a feature we have requested. I will see if I can find out any information.

thank you for your response, on a follow-up question, I purchased a domain name also for the church through Google G Suite. How do I link or transfer the new domain name olsparshchurch.org to Homestead???

Are you using G suite for your mail service?

The account is new, just opened a few days ago, I have not set-up anything yet with Google G Suite and the Domain provider is GoDaddy.  I have only set up 1 email account for myself. I know I cannot transfer for 60 days, but how do I go about linking to Homestead?

Jcas220171, you have it pointed correctly now it looks like, but the site is not published yet, so there is nothing to display. Also, by changing the nameservers to ours, you have moved your mail service to Homestead. I don't not see any mailbox set up with us, so I assume you made it with Google or GoDaddy. Whichever one, you will need to have them provide you with the needed DNS records for their mail system. Then you can edit the DNS from within your Homestead account to point the mail back to whichever company you wish, or you can create mailboxes with us. It is up to you. I am happy to help you update the DNS once you have the correct records.

Thank you for the help and response...Since I cannot transfer the other site, I must now rebuild the new site, once finished it will go live once again. This is tedious work that could have been saved by the ability to transfer a website within Homestead..

Hi Drew, I want my email to point to Gmail. How do I do that? I tried but failed. Really appreciate your help and time!
Also I have been trying to install the Google Translation widget, It opens and shows me the available languages, but it will not do anything after I press the language desired.

You need to log into your G Suite account and get the DNS records that the require to host your email. Once you have those, copy/paste them here and I can update them for you.

Values for G Suite MX records
Name/Host/Alias      Time to Live (TTL*)   RecordType PriorityValue/Answer/Destination
@ or leave blank     3600   MX1ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
@ or leave blank     3600   MX5ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
@ or leave blank     3600   MX5ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
@ or leave blank     3600   MX10ALT3.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
@ or leave blank     3600   MX10ALT4.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
Add new MX records for the Google mail servers.

If your domain host limits the number of MX records, just add the first 2 records in this tab

The records have been updated, but it could take a little propagation time for everything to work.
