I have email and web hosting through Homestead. I would like to forward my primary url/website (https://www.eastcoastgateoperatorsinc.com/) to a new url (https://www.ecgateops.com) without affecting my email on homestead.
Is the best way to do this by:
1. Create a subdomain that points to the new url
2. Change the site association of the old/primary url to the new subdomain

Thank you. When I test by clicking on "View" in the subdomain options, it is taking me to a Page Not Found under my new url. Any idea as to why?

Instead of clicking view, select edit from the sub domain and add ecgateops.com to other url field.

After you do that, allow some time but you can then test it by going to the domain eastcoastgateoperatorsinc.com.
