I have attempted to use the blog that is available, but I'm now stymied because it doesn't show up in the directory of pages of my site, and I can't find the url for the blog page so I could try to make it known. I'm not the most techie savie, so my apologies if I'm showing my stupidity with this. How do I actually get the blog "out there so that somebody other than myself can see it?

You can place the blog element on any page you desire. You can also make a new page for it. To add the element, just go to insert and hover your mouse of text, then click on blog.

This is obviously above my pay grade. I see nothing labeled "insert". I've gotten along for almost 69 years without a blog. I reckon I can make it another 69 without one. Thanks anyway Drew

No problem, but if you would like to give it a try, Insert is in your editor. You can see in steps 1 and 2 of this topic. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/how_do_i_add_a_blog_to_my_website-4vb70

Got it now Drew (I think). Just add the text box to my blog page, give it a name, and edit the page then just as i would any other page. Right?

It is actually not a text box. You hover your mouse over text and will see blog pop down in the menu. That is a different element and will pull the topics you entered in the blog manager. Once the blog element is on the page, when you select it, you can access blog posts on the properties editor on the right side. You can also edit posts on the websites manager page, using the blog button just to the right of the Edit site button.
