We can place the site under construction so no one can see it until you publish. You can also use the file manager to unpublish pages. Then edit the index page to provide some info during the changes.

I tried to un-publish the pages on the File Manager but it didn't work.  Any pointers?

IT will show your missing page file. I can remove that too, but then people will be redirected to homestead.com. I figured this would be better, but let me know.
