Some of the filter rule words include:
rightmove - but emails from rightmove.com are getting through
Zoopla - emails from Zoopla.co.uk get through
cruise - emails from cruisenation.com get through
travelzoo - emails from travelzoo.com get through

The monoprice filter seems to be working now but none of my other filters are yet to work.

If any filters were working I would see the filtered email in my trash. None have gone to my trash.

Hi. Could someone please tell me how to block someone's e-mails on Roundcube? There's one person in particular who is hounding me day and night and I don't even want to see their name pop up in my inbox. Many thanks.

I'm getting unwanted mail from a sender. How do I block from even being received?

There's a person who has been placing nonsense messages in my guest book for years, so I finally had to disable my guest book because I can't spend so much time policing the guest book. It's a shame. I wish I was able to block that person from submitting comments in the guest book.
In addition, the same person is sending me nonsense e-mails, so I'm trying to block him. In "Filters" I've placed his e-mail address, but I'm confused about the rules: match all following rules, match any of the rules or all e-mails. I clicked "any." Then I clicked on "From" and "is equal to." plus a value of "1." But I have no idea what any of that means and if it's the correct way to block his e-mails.
(Note: I first clicked filter "all messages" and sent myself a test e-mail, but my own e-mail didn't go through. So I assume that "matching all rules" or "any rules" is okay. I hope so.)
I then clicked "reject message" with the comment added: "Permanently blocked." I assume this means that he'll get that message when he sends an e-mail. Have I done this correctly?
Any feedback is much appreciated. Thank you kindly.

May I please inquire if there are some instructions or a "help" file for Roundcube e-mails? I'm having difficulty understanding and applying the following categories in the filters option:
- contains
- does not contain
- is equal to
- is not equal to
- exists
- does not exist, etc.
Also, does the number value mean that the filter will work according to the number you choose? Not sure about that one either.
Thanks in advance.

Which number value? If you are looking to make a particular filter, I may be able to help guide you.

Thanks. I did everything according to our previous discussion.
Once you've completed filling out the information and you click "OK," the program asks you to "Please enter a value to test the header against" and a blinking cursor appears near the small garbage can icon. So I typed in "1" there but that didn't work. So I tried "9" and that didn't work either. (Meaning the harassing e-mails didn't stop getting through.)
If you have a Roundcube e-mail account and also another e-mail address, you could possibly make a test for yourself and see if it will block the messages from your other e-mail address.
The filters aren't clear. I think Roundcube should provide more information. Do they have an e-mail address where I can write them so you don't have to spend so much time on this?
I'm at a loss about what to do with this person and their hateful e-mails. There is something amiss, if you know what I mean.

Thank you very much, Drew. After submitting my last post, I kept trying to make it work and finally succeeded. I think the problem was that I had clicked "reject with message," but I didn't write the message (or it got deleted when I tried again). Whatever the case, I checked using a couple of messages from different e-mail addresses and they were rejected, so problem solved. Sorry for the inconvenience. I was getting exasperated with the unwanted messages. I appreciate your support.
