The best way to auto respond for an email is to use a filter. In the top right, click settings.
On the left side, click filters. Near the bottom left, click the plus(+). You will see the box in the main window. There are many options, but for a general autoresponse, select To and enter the email address that is responding. This should catch all incoming email and respond.

Select Out of office message and enter a subject and any additional information in the text. Then Save.

Hello -
Question regarding "Away/Vacation Notice"
In the past I have alway set up my away notice through Homestead website / manage emails.
With the change to Roundcube - should I set it up through there?
I have always noticed a lag time setting it up through the website, and was wondering if I did it through Roundcube would it be faster?
Thank you

I know how -
what I was asking is - should I continue to set it up through homestead...with the lag time it takes to work -
or is roundcube faster to switch on?

My apologies! I misunderstood, I thought you were saying there was a delay with the auto-response from the Email Manager. How long are the delays in RoundCube? Generally the auto-response comes promptly, but emails like Gmail or AOL can take a bit longer to receive.
