I want to redirect my Homestead website traffic to my new Bigcommerce site. How do I create the redirect and where do I put it?

It looks like your domain is redirecting to your BigCommerce store now. The way you have it pointing is how we would recommend pointing it, that or pointing nameservers.

The address is www.stores.napasewandvac.com. Can it be changed to www.napasewandvac.com?

Yes you can. Point your nameservers to bigcommerce using their nameservers, ns1.bigcommerce.com ns2.bigcommerce.com and ns3.bigcommerce.com. Be sure to also update the domain inside of BigCommerce, so go to Server Settings, click Domains, and change the domain to just "napasewandvac.com" (not stores.napasewandvac.com). If you do use email with Homestead, be sure to add all of Homestead's email records inside of the BigCommerce store. If you need those, let me know.

Inside of Homestead, go to your Domains page, click Edit Your Nameservers, and you will want to replace the current nameservers with ns1.bigcommerce.com ns2.bigcommerce.com ns3.bigcommerce.com

You mean Advanced Settings > Advanced DNS Settings > Edit CNames?
What's a nameserver?
Like this? 6.
www.napasewandvac.com points to ns1.bigcommerce.com
7.
www.napasewandvac.com points to ns2.bigcommerce.com
8.
www.napasewandvac.com points to ns3.bigcommerce.com

Here is some information about updating Nameservers with Homestead.

If you want to point using CNames, then this would be a different process, but utilizing the nameserver change will allow your store to open by just the domain name.

I don't see any Edit for nameservers:
Site
hstrial-NapaSewVac
Change Site Association

Subdomains
www

stores.napasewandvac.com
Edit | View

add a new subdomain

Domain Control
Advanced DNS settings

My deepest apologies, themieleman, I did not see that your domain was pointing to Homestead from register.com, which would explain why you are not able to see the edit Nameservers option.

You would edit your nameservers at register.com since that is where your domain is hosted. Keep in mind, this will disrupt the connection to your current website with Homestead because it will be completely with your BigCommerce store.
