Functions in the old Sitebuilder that were very straightforward seem impossible to find in Website Builder. Whilst the page width of a new site I'm working on seems perfect on my desktop computer, when I view the site on an iPad and an android tablet, parts of the page aren't visible and there's not even a scroll-bar available to move left and right. Parts of the page are simply chopped off. I've realised I need to reduce the page width, but I've given up trying to work out how to do it. Please help!

It has been my experience that the way the software is set up to auto-resize for the mobile screens, it is imperative to keep all your content within those dotted lines.  While you would see the content on a desktop if it's outside of those guides, it does get cut off on the smaller screens.

Thanks for your reply, Lynn.
Are there meant to be dotted lines in the desktop editor? I don't have those.

Ah... I think I see what you mean, Lynn. The dotted lines which appear when you click on an element to resize or re-position it? The trouble is, I've already enlarged things across the site. I gather the only way is to resize each element individually.

There are dotted lines across the top and sides which should be your guides to keep your elements "in sight"  What is your website?  Let me look at it to be sure we are talking about the same thing before I continue with my sage advice!!

If you are referring to Website Builder, Lynn is correct. There are two vertical dotted lines that we recommend you stay between. They are always there, not just when you click on an element. Other than that, the site is responsive, so it doesn't have a set number of pixels or width, it will adjust based on the device the site is pulled up on.

Thank you Elyzabeth and Lynn. Mine definitely only shows the dotted lines once elements are clicked. Anyway, I've managed to reduce the width of each element and it now displays correctly. Thank you.
