I have an Event page on my web site (http://www.bfccityconcerns.org/events) and the original design of the page had several 'you can edit' images.  I chose two upcoming events and deleted the rest, for now.  I will need to add another event eventually but I don't see where, in editor, I add one of those images where I can edit the date.  Can you help?  Thank you!!

Hello RoseM

It looks like you deleted the element that had that function, that would have been a data list. What you have on that page is just images and text. As your website is right now, it would be a matter of editing an image outside of the builder to add the date. Otherwise, you can look in the save history of the website and go back to a time that element was still there, and copy it. Another option is to add a section to the page and find a section template that has a data list with a date that you can work with.

I found the original page in the history (thank you, btw) but I don't see how to copy it.  It wants me to revert back to it.

You'll have to open it in the editor or "revert", copy it, then go back to the last save in the history to go back to the previous version. It is a bit of a process, I know.

Okay, I found how to add a data list but it seems within the data list you cannot link an email address (or anything else such as web page, etc.).  Is that so or is there a work-around?

I am not seeing that option, I do not think it is possible with that element, unfortunately.

Well I think I figured out a work-around.  It does allow you to add an element to the page so I just added Text and linked the text to (in this case) an email address then substituted that text for the one in the data list. I hope that was clear. :)

Maybe you can help me with my issue.  I have added an events page to the website I am developing and need to know if this is a page you have to manually update regularly or does it work with an interactive calendar (like Google) that will automatically update the events as they pass and/or occur?  Thanks.

If you go into the Elements tab in Web Site Builder, click on 'embed html'.  That element is where you enter your html from your calendar (i.e. Google Calendar, etc.).  Place it where you want on the page and resize as desired.  It should update as your calendar updates.  If I'm in error, one of the Homestead reps will jump in and correct me.  Good luck! :)

Thank you Rose .... this worked perfectly for adding my calendar but I was wanting to select certain events from the calendar to appear in the EVENTS section without having to retype the information. .... thanks for your help!

Hello Fran6251

We don't have anything in our builder to provide that functionality. If it is possible, it would be through code provided by Google that you would need to place on that page.
