When I go to add a new web site, it mentions WebSite Builder, which makes it sound like it is different from SiteBuilder.  My current web site only shows SiteBuilder as an option.  How can I use WebSite Builder with my current web site?

All new sites are placed on the new Websitebuilder program. Here's how to switch your current site to that new platform keeping in mind that you will need to rebuild your current site as the two platforms are too dissimilar to just move one over. If you open the current site in the browser you can copy and paste the content into the new one. Images will need to be uploaded.

  • Click on Add A New Site that appears in the upper right of the log in window.
  • Give the site a name. Any name will do as you will switch to the current site name once you have completed building. I usually just use the current site name with a 2 at the end.
  • Choose a template. If you prefer to build from scratch choose any template and delete all the elements. If you choose a template and decide you want a different one you will need to start over at Step 1.
  • Build the site
Your current site will remain up and running and you can continue to edit, etc. until such time as the new site is completed and you switch it over to the regular domain.
