If they are PDF files you can password protect them before you upload them in Acrobat.  It won't stop them from taking screenshots though.  You can also put them on a "members only" type page so that access to them is limited to people to whom you provide a password.  Other than that, there is not much you can do, I don't think.

That is correct.
You can place the pages of the PDF on your page as an image and place a clear box over it so it is not clickable, but people would not be able to zoom on the page to read it better and this would also not prevent people from screenshotting it.
