They are doing a migration to make everything up to date and running fast, you don't have a VCR anymore, right?  Hang in there, it is almost done.  You could move but why look for hamburger when you have filet mignon now?

This "migration" crap is getting old. This prime business time and I can't update my stock. Who migrates during normal business hours anyway??????

Everybody.  You must notice workers on the side of the road with arrows and those red pointy things, right?

Leah:

Your lack of sympathy to the customer's plight is noted and not appreciated.  In my company, computer updates were conducted during off hours (as road reconstruction is now often done) so as not to impede "regular traffic."

I am a customer, not an employee of Homestead. Of course I am sympathetic, I am in the same boat as you are.  But since there is nothing to be done but wait until they get the migration complete, the best attitude to have in my opinion is patience. They have a huge number of clients and their tech people are doing the best they can.  I am a glass half full type and for all we know people are working around the clock to fix this.  If they only worked during regular hours thousands of clients might not have their site up and running again for several months.  I defer to the experts.

You came on here bellowing about what in heaven's name was going on and I tried to explain so you wouldn't think the whole thing has gone to hell in a hand basket.  This is not customer service, this is where customers congregate to discuss our problems with our sites. Sorry I couldn't fix it for you, dear. (;>

Give it a rest, I checked out your profile, you joined yesterday.  Perhaps if homestead spent more time hiring intelligent programmers instead of thinly disguised "community posters" we might not have this issue.  Do you really think that people that participate in this forum are so stupid that they can't spot people like you?

We should get the head of the Migration Manager.  Obviously he/she failed drastically!!!
