I just had an online chat with one of the homestead reps and she is telling me now that it is now going to be another 1-2 weeks until this nightmare is over.  Drew is this true??
Here's the text of my conversation

Priya C: Russ, I am really sorry it was planned to get fixed within December 2nd week

Priya C: Due to unknown reason its extended to 1-2 week more

Russ3073,

I haven't seen this messaging either. I am inquiring, but as far as I know we are closer to the end of the migration than that. Once the data has moved completely, that should free up considerable resources. I do also expect that there will be quite a bit of tuning required to get the most out of the new data center, so as that occurs I would expect continued improvement.

Yes, of course. There will be quite a bit of tuning required to get the most out of the new data center.

What the heck does that mean?

Do they even have a clue?

Do you think they really care?

If they did care, they damn sure wouldn't be treating their customers like this.

It appears that Endurance is playing their customers and employees like a bunch of drums. Leaving it up to just one employee to be the messenger. Since they are located in Burlington, Massachusetts, I'm going to contact the Attorney General there and let them put a fire under someone's tail. I also encourage everyone else to do the same.

By the way, try going to Google and typing in: "homestead.com complaints"  - You'll be amazed at what you read! It appears this extremely low level of customer service has been going on for quite some time. I never knew because my software always worked fine and never had to contact them.

Unfortunately, now we all know the reality.

This is totally unacceptable and I'm very, very disappointed in this company!

Just waiting on the latest update from Homestead Endurance?

Let me guess?

The migration has been extended and "we're very sorry for the inconvenience" ???

Please prove me wrong.

Thank you,
Tim

UPDATE: Our data center upgrade is scheduled to be complete by end of month. You may experience intermittent slowness or issues when logging into your Sitebuilder Plus and SiteBuilder desktop sites until then. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your understanding.

Art, are you with homestead or is this something that was sent to you by homestead?

I am not with Homestead. Just look at their chat room in the community. I cut and pasted that statement.

Interesting...now my website won't even load...period. More server issues? Hmmm, I am out of nasty comments.

We are sorry. I will have an update tomorrow. The issue you experienced today was separate from the migration. A fault was identified and corrected in the data center that we are moving away from.

Drew
