Incoming mail server: mail.homesteadmail.com Port: 993
Outgoing mail server: smtp.homesteadmail.com Port: 587
All other settings will remain the same. We are continuing to investigate the issue and will update as new information becomes available.

I have been able to send and receive emails with the following setting in Outlook 2007.
Make sure to click the box This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) the Incoming Server Port (POP3) will change from110 to 995 make sure it has 995 in the box.
The outgoing server port (SMTP): 587 I left mine the same.
Thanks

Attempted the above and get the following error:
- Receiving' reported error (0x8004210A) : 'The operation timed out waiting for a response from the receiving (POP) server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

I feel the issues as everyone else, I am a small business which needs this to work. I use my emial through different devices so POP is not an option. I need the IMAP to work, I have tried both of the fixes above no joy.
I am using Fios for ISP, I had them check routers and all ports but 80 were open.
If I disconnect from the Fios network and tether the PC via from my phone network everything works as before.
Strange does anyone have any other ideas ...

I agree with other comments that this is particularly troublesome and for small businesses a bigger problem then you might imagine!!

If you want to move your email then you will setup the account at the new mail provider and create your email addresses. Then you will be provided with the MX records for your domain.
If your domain is hosted with us then you can edit those records in your Homestead account. If the domain is pointed to us, we will have to update the records for you.
When you change DNS records it can take up to 24 hours for propagation, so there will be some interruption of email, though it rarely takes anywhere near that time, it is a possibility.
Thanks

My domain is "www.ascensionpm.com"
Should I be trying to change my servers to "mail.ascensionpm.com" and smtp.ascensionpm.com"
How is the connection to Homestead made if I change these?

Thanks

Without the SSL there is no difference.
