I cannot seem to highlight an area larger than the screen area to then move it to a lower postion or copy and paste etc. I have always been able to do it prior to this week. This is very frustration and very time consuming. What do I need to do?

Ok other than switching to another browser...the other things did not work. I have always been able to do it before for years on Chrome. why would it just stop??? Please help!

The Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, commands still work in Chrome. If they don't work on your computer, there must be something conflicting. This could be caused by a number of different things. You may want to first take a look at your browser addons and remove anything that you don't use or anything that looks malicious. Then if you still have the problem, try disabling the addons one at a time and see if you find one that is conflicting.

copy and paste works....its the initial highlighting a large area [scrolling down pages while highlighting] that doesn't work any more

Try the same troubleshooting steps above. I just logged in and tested it on Chrome and it does still work. If you click withing a text box and highlight the text, then just move your mouse down, the page will auto-scroll down.
