Had an old credit card on account, updated with new one and it still says I have outstanding balance!

I did not realize I had an old credit card listed for my account until I received notice that my payment did not go through. I updated my account with a new card and it has been a couple weeks and still says I have an outstanding balance. I noticed that the charge did not go through on my credit card either. How do I get the payment posted with the new card?

I do see that the credit card on file was updated on 7/13/2018. Our system just hasn't reattempted billing since then. It definitely will, nothing else needs to be done on your end. Once it attempts to bill again, that payment should go through.

I got a new card yesterday because I discovered a fraudulent charge on my Visa bill last week on Thursday, July 19.  Chase cancelled the card and gave me a new account #.

M/s Elizabeth > you know my website account was credited on 20th July.  Account summary also says Homestead has received payment. But why do I get demand notice to day ?

Nothing is due on your account, I see the payment that went through. If you received an email demanding payment, it is either an old email or not from Homestead. Everything is up to date on your account.

I updated my credit card over a week ago and my annual payment which was due July 30th still has not been charged to my new visa. How long does this take?

It usually attempts billing about a week later, so you should see that charge go through soon.
