Good God people, just fix the email system.

I was moved to the new email platform and continue to have customers angry with me that my emails are not getting to them, and theirs are not getting to me. I thought this problem was supposed to be fixed. No bounce back messages on either side, just missing email. I am at the end of my patience with Homestead on this. Also, since the new system, I cannot delete email on my IPad. Every time I try to delete something I get a message that says "unable to move message. The message cannot be moved to the mailbox trash." Please just fix the problems already, or my project for the new year will be to look for website provider.

I am still on the old email and it hasn't worked in days. WTH come on and get these emails going this is money lost.

Your account has been converted. You are no longer on the old system. If you log into your email using the link at the top of Homestead.com you should see all of your emails in the new system. The link in the top right corner of homestead.com does not work when I try to log in.
When I type my email and pass word in, the page turns blank with this at the top of the page,

Please help I can not get into my emails.

Can you clear your browser history and/or try a different browser. There are no system issues at this time.

Drew, I cleared my browser history and tried to open the web mail link on the homstead.com front page in google chrome and internet explore and I get this at the top of the page,

LGI-0006 Categories=USER_INPUT Message='Invalid credentials.' exceptionID=-1643429103-2036271

please fix this I need to get in to my email, i'm losing clients!

Ok, that is a different error. Please try resetting the password from the email manager, then try to login. Make sure the password is at leat 8 characters and at least 1 upper case and 1 lower case letter.

I agree!! So frustrating. And no weekend support? How can a email and website server NOT have customer support on weekends? Should be 24/7, no questions...especially for a big company. FIX THE EMAIL! I try logging into my email accounts and it shows I have NO emails set up, when I have 10 different accounts. I just bought another email account and it shows that I am using 0 of 10, which is not true. The system took my money for the new email but won't show me any of them! Then I tried and test and it didn't work....PLEASE FIX THIS MESS

My pop server that I was using to obtain my homestead emails was not getting anything. Homestead did the move and sent out a email announcing the move but I did not get it because it was place in the SPAM folder on Homestead server. You would figure they would make sure it got routed to INBOX? I had an important client email that was in this new server but I was waiting for the email that it had been done. Piss poor management and from one pissed off customer.

Been with this company since it started and was thinking about changing services before but wasn't sure but this just kicked me over the edge with this beyond @#$%&^*^ email service.. what were you all thinking or were you even thinking about us or just no hurting your pockets. This is crazy, emails not loading, missing contact list that you said was going to be emailed to us as a file, the system keeps freezing and who knows whatever else. Real business people don't have time for this and I guess as my business is growing I think I have grown out of the weak service. Its sad too because you were great at one time but just not keeping up with the times. I agree with everyone here just piss poor sad. If anyone finds a better hosting company that offers real business tools please let me know in til then the search is on asap!

The new email system has a much better backend than the old. Migrations are always difficult and we are sorry if you are having a problem with it. Do you have the addresses of the mailing lists? We should be able to recover them tomorrow.

What browser are you using for email? Do you receive any errors?

I have been informed that though my emails reach some recipients they cannot reply to me or send a brand spanking new email. Neither of these type of emails reach me. Others have told me they never received my email at all. I am sure there are numerous others that just don't know what happened to me and why I haven't responded to their emails that I never received.

Here is the address that I have been trying to receive emails from (that I always could get previously) that don't get through to me and NO they are not in my junk box.

This is what's so frustrating about this situation. I have emails also that the receivers don't receive, and that I don't receive from others. But I don't get a bounce back message and neither do the senders. So Homestead tells me I must be doing something wrong, it must be my fault. Hmmm funny how there's other people too with the same issues. So I tell them I want a refund on my account, and they give me a phone number to call. After sitting on hold forever, I finally reach someone who tells me they can't refund anything on my account because the email service is "free." They tell me they are going to transfer me directly to tech support, no holding or waiting, and someone will help me troubleshoot. After waiting on hold again for forever, I hung up. I'm at a loss as to what to do. Working email is essential to someone running a business.

Can how are you checking your email? Outlook or some other email program? or the Zimbra web page. To diagnose the problem, can you first log into mail.homestadmail.com and see if you can successfully send and receive through the web client?

Your account has been converted to the new email system. How are you trying to check your email, Outlook, or other email program? Can you send and receive ok if you log in using the Webmail link at the top of www.homestead.com?

I use Outlook and an Ipad. I don't ever use Webmail. And the biggest part of my frustration is that I don't know when I am sending and receiving ok. I assume everything is ok if I don't get a bounce back message, then I hear from an angry customer that thinks I am ignoring them because they didn't get my email. Or, someone tries to send me something and I never get it (and they also don't get a bounce back msg). So, if I didn't get it, of course I can't answer it, so again they think I'm ignoring them. Sometimes things come/go just fine, sometimes they don't. And I have no way of knowing. I've checked my settings according to the instructions. I am literally frustrated to tears over this. I know you guys are trying to help, but it seems like somebody somewhere is missing something. Beyond double checking my settings, I don't know what else I can do on my end. Sometimes things are received on my Ipad that aren't received in Outlook and vice versa. I have sent emails from my Ipad that didn't go through ( aren't in sent items either, and aren't in the outbox) and then I re-type and send from Outlook and it goes through.

just tried to send something from my ipad and it says "cannot verify server identity of "smtp.homestead.com Would you like to continue anyway?" I clicked continue and it went through.

I am having similar issues when I send from HMail to my AOL account. I do not get bounce messages but any message that I send to my AOL personal account just doesn't arrive. I sent 3 messages yesterday and one this morning and they are just out in the ozone somewhere. Since my AOL account has nothing to do with Hmail, I have to wonder what other client messages am I sending that I think are heading to their destination but could be in the same place as my missing messages to AOL. It worked ok until the weekend and it hasn't worked since with the AOL messages.

Does this happen only with the AOL account, or can you confirm that they are not delivered to other addresses?

Be sure to check the junk or spam folder on the aol account.

I only have one other e-mail account that I can check so I'm not sure if it happens to other people that I send to....messages that I sent from Hmail to my personal AOL account on Monday came through today, Weds., with no indication that they were late in any way. Then this a.m. sending from Hmail to AOL worked like is is supposed to and then a little later in the morning, they started being delayed again but this time, only for a short period of time, like 20 minutes or so. I just never know when Hmail works or doesn't for the most part in regard to sending. Carolyn

Carolyn5206, We are about 3/4 done with converting the email accounts to the new platform, so it should not be too much longer before we have yours completed. At this point, you'll find the new system to be more stable and you should not get the delays you are describing.

Hate the new system but it's working on desk & laptops....however the new settings on my Samsung Droid are NOT.....HELP I need this !!!!!!!!!!

I need some help as well. Was just converted over to the new system using IMAP and my business e-mail cannot go out. Used the 587 port that is recommend, but it seems to be sporadic, and never when I really need it.

Are you getting any error messages? Let us know which email client you are using and any other errors or details you can provide. (you can try to use port 25 and see if it works better).
