Hello,

Chrome has not supported flash in a long time. Adobe is actually the one who is discontinuing support for Flash. There is no technical "replacement". It is just outdated and being discontinued.

Actually Chrome will continue to support Flash until the end of 2020. Read more about it here: https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/11549634?hl=en

Flash is automatically disabled in all updated Chrome browsers, so unless someone manually turns it on, it will not work.

Thus it is supported for the time being. The National Weather Service is still using it for online radar.
