I have been trying to do what you have told me about flipping the pictures. Now I cannot even open my website to make changes. It says saved, published and local have all changed. PLEASE FIX THIS,! It is embarrassing to have published and now my guests are seeing everything sideways. THIS IS YOUR SOFTWARE PROBLEM AS THE PICTURES ARE PERFECT ON THE COMPUTER. WHEN IT OPENS ON PHONES, THEY ARE SIDEWAYS. FIX IT, PLEASE

Hello,

I do apologize, if the images were taken on a mobile device sometimes the original copy is stored sideways. The images will need to be rotated and saved on your end upright then uploaded after.

I am doing this and it seems to be working BUT this is ridiculous.  All those pictures are now SIDEWAYS in my computer just so they can be upright on the website when viewed on a phone.  When I upload those sideways pictures onto the website, I have to rotate them.  I figure out that I will have to do this at 35 TIMES. THERE HS TO BE BETTER WAY.  I only completely redo the site once a year, so I really hope that by next year, there will be some solution so that all pictures appear the same on a computer and a phone. And BTW, how come this didn't happen when I downloaded pictures in my 2018 site?  A lot of those  pictures came from my phone as well!

Unfortunately, this is the only suggestion I can provide. I understand this will require a little bit more work but it must be done in order for the image to display as desired. The website software uploads the image as it is taken and stored by the device and we have been seeing an increase of this more with iphones. I do apologize, I can mention this to the proper engineers but I cannot guarantee this is something we have control of and/or can change.

This is all the same in other devices too.I have a digital frame. Pictures that where taken on mobile all upside down. I flipped them on the computer and the Windows is showing them right. Then I put them on the frame and then they  upside down again.
I have graphic program I am using (PSP) and then and only then digital photos show up correctly.
There are other free programs you can use to to do the same.
Good luck
