Open the editor and click on your site name in the upper right corner next to Account and Help. Click on View File Manager in the drop down list.

You're welcome Brian and Happy New Year! And just an FYI it took me forever to find it the first time out - it's not exactly obvious.  :)

That's not the File Manager I know and love. Your answer refers to the File Manager within SiteBuilder. I use the File Manager within homestead.com

https://www.homestead.com/~site/Scripts_SiteManager/SiteManager.dll?CMD=CMDManageFiles

Why? This File Manager upon selecting an html or graphic, and click Preview, actually provides the useful  live web link that is on the web in html format, Provides the graphic live web link you need.

Try it out:

Login to homestead.com
Paste the "Manage Files" link into the address bar of a new tab: https://www.homestead.com/~site/Scripts_SiteManager/SiteManager.dll?CMD=CMDManageFiles

and there you have access to your folder and file locations using the web, not SiteBuilder.

Why is this link important?  https://www.homestead.com/~site/Scripts_SiteManager/SiteManager.dll?CMD=CMDManageFiles

When you sign up to use SiteBuilder PLUS (the online version of web page designing) you lose the ability to access this special web version of File Manager.  I do not know why homestead took it away from the menu choices within the homestead.com site  but I bookmark it on all my computers and use this link every time I interface with my web work.

https://www.homestead.com/~site/Scripts_SiteManager/SiteManager.dll?CMD=CMDManageFiles

Try it out. The web version of your files and pages actually works faster now that the "migration" is over with.  It is more accurate giving you the live web html link to your pages and files.

Brian4668,

The mange pages and files was removed several years ago, though some accounts seemed to still display it for long after. It is still available by the link if you need it. Are you able to see it noe?

No. I am not able to select "Manage Pages and Files" from within homestead.com as I had been able to do for a decade. It was taken away from my online "Websites Manager" menu when a helpful support call person suggested I use SiteBuilder PLUS - the online Homestead web editor. As soon as I agreed I lost this feature so now I have to use the link:

https://www.homestead.com/~site/Scripts_SiteManager/SiteManager.dll?CMD=CMDManageFiles

It should not have anything to do with the switch. This option was removed several years ago, but some accounts apparently still had it for some reason. You will need to use the link. It is still active, just not on the menu.
