So, I put the Facebook like button on my header so it appears on all of my website pages. I'm a little confused as I had figured when someone clicks on the button regardless of the page they click the button on the "like #" would increase the same on all website pages but it does not. Apparently when someone clicks the like button it only registers for the page they clicked on. How do I get the button to show the same number of likes on all of the buttons? And I realize it is showing likes for my website but in the description homestead is making it out as if the people are liking my Facebook page. Please someone clear this up for me.

Hello,

What the Facebook like button does is have the customer "like" your website on Facebook. If it shows up on peoples feeds, it would show up as "name or person" likes "www.websitename.com". This does not have them like your Facebook page.
It would be much more useful just to have a Facebook icon that links to your page or a Facebook Page Preview on your site.
