I cannot save changes to my site.  Each time I try, I get the error message saying "possible server or network issue." The popup recommends calling and using Error Code: 0x19.  It occurs every time I try to save the changes I've made to the site.

I have the same probelm and it really sucks as the postal rates have increased and I can't edit my website to reflect this, so I am going to start losing money on shipping if this doesn't get resolved soon. I tried the live chat yesterday for about 45 minutes but they couldn't fix it. And I can't seem to find the ph. #'s to contact a live person.

The most common cause of error 0x19 is a time out due to inactivity. The system logs you out and you will need to log in again. This is by design so no fix is required.

The second common cause of this error is a connection interruption between your computer and our servers. This is also an issue for us to fix as typically it is not on our servers, but somewhere along the line prior to reaching us.

I was able to use the save button several times without generating the error just now. Are you still seeing it?

I don't have any problem saving the info, just publishing it. When publishing about half the info makes it but then it stops, or times out, I can't tell, before it all gets transferred.

Have you tried publishing from the file manager? You can tag multiple files and then publish.

I am also not able to save and get the same error code and won't publish.  Been having the error code for about a week now.  Was able to publish till today, it won't publish. Not sure how to get to file manager with the Sitebuilder plus.

Below is a ink to the file manager. I see 1 page on each site was published today. Are you sure you aren't looking at a cached copy of the site.

No, everytime I make a change, I have tried to save.  Always states "start from last change?" which means it didn't publish.  Then I go look and my changes have not been made (this is in the program not look at it on google) so I make the change, try to save, gives me the error.  Before I could just publish anyways,  now t won't even publish.  Tried to go into file manager, it froze, will not publish.

So it appears it has published.  :)

No matter what happens with Sitebuilder publishing, always go to the published site and hit your f5 key. This will refresg the page and let you know if it published anyway. Something else may be triggering the last save point message and we may need a developer to look.

Yes, I always refresh.  It wasn't showing changes.

Ok. If you see this again, then post here and specify the site and page and the change you made that didn't publish. We can take a look and see if we can correct it for you.

Refresh doesn't work on mine either. www.whyteleatherworks.com  specifically the Big Lube page. Always times out, and it didn't help publishing from the File Manager. The file had an "upload" notation on the far right side, if that means anything.

Mark2405,

We don't advise using both Sitebuilder desktop and Sitebuilder Plus on the same site. There are things that are not compatible. Is the problem happening in desktop or Plus? If it is in Plus, try using Chrome and see if it still happens.

Yes, I am still seeing the 0x19 error message every time I try to save.  I cannot publish/update the page I am working on.  I appear to have good network connectivity at my end, and have had no issue working on any other website (including a blog I manage through a different provider).  I am hoping that whatever this issue is, it's something that can be resolved early next week when Homestead's offices are open again. It's very frustrating given the amount of money I pay each month for this service/site not to be able to work on it.

Scott4284,

Can you try using Firefox or Chrome? Is it every page or just one?

Firefox did not help mine. I have plain old Sitebuilder , no plus.

Mark2405, if you are using Sitebuilder desktop, then the browser won't matter. Did you add something large to the page? Can you try removing the change and see if that does anything? Do you get any error message or does it just freeze?

It freezes and then I get the error message. I have to restart the computer to get Sitebuilder to close. I haven't done anything to the site for months, but the last time I used it everything worked quickly and properly.

You may need to do a reinstall of Sitebuilder. Try following these step by step instructions. A regular uninstall may not do it.

Drew, I can certainly try Firefox or Chrome...I have been using Microsoft Explorer, and so far I've only tried editing one page...but I can certainly look at others and see if I get the same error.

Which is the better search engine to use when editing the site online?

The 2 should be equal. I would probably use Chrome as it is the most used browser and will show you a better picture of what most of your site visitors will see. Not all browsers show everything the same way.

That makes sense.  Thanks for that tip...I appreciate it.  Getting back to the error code, is it possible that there is an issue with the Homestead servers that is causing the message?  I think I need to call their 1-800 number, but they aren't open until tomorrow.  If you have any other suggestions, I am open to trying anything.  I am install Chrome now and will launch the online Sitebuilder through it shortly, but I fear I am going to get the same error message.

The phone reps won't be able to help any more than I can. I am with Homestead. I don't believe it is a server issue or there would be far more people experiencing the issue.

I see a page named Corvette/C2/1967/C2_1967_Specifications.html that is showing as published today. It may be publishing despite the error message. If not, let me know what page and I'll take another look.

After re-launching the site and restoring to last change, I eventually get a save and publish to go thru and complete without the error message. However, even after downloading Chrome I continue to get the same message there. Maybe it's a traffic issue due to bad weather...

It can be a quick disruption in the connection. If you want to provide a change to me for a particular page, I can see if I get the error.
