Dear Sir

I am very much frustrated on the ongoing email issue . I am not receiving any mails which has been sent thru the forms in my website . www.hibasgiftindia.com. I am using yahoomail to receive the orders of my customers. ( infohibas@yahoo.com) .. which is affected very badly .
i am using another mail also for the agents to place their orders (hibasorders@gmail.com) . which is not affected much. but getting late to receive . most of the orders are coming from customers and through yahoo mail only . so this error affected my business a lot .. kindly look in to this matter and fix it ASAP

Regards

Shaji

Some e-mail providers block our form submissions, and sometimes only part of the time.

If I were you, I would use an e-mail address created at your domain name (eg: mike@mydomain.com) for the submitted forms instead of, say your yahoo.com e-mail. Then, simply forward those e-mail to your e-mail account, or check them locally at your HMail account.

hi there,

No, I'm afraid there's no way to lighten that workload Shaji.

The good news, is that we're never going to block our own forms, so it's a tank you'll only have to undertake once!

But i think yahoo didnt block the mails . The problem i suspect is the homestead mail service has some problem and not sending the mail properly due to the new email issue . During these days ii recieved a mail in my yahoo mail box which has been sent by a customer thru my site . Which shows yahoo didnt block the mail from homestead , Instead the mail forwading system in homested has got some issue . Thats what i would like to request you to fix ....

Hi again,

That's some thorough detective work, my friend! i appreciate everything you've explained to help me investigate. I can confirm that our forms system is definitely up and running.

My advice to you in our first message will work perfectly and ensure no future issues arise, but I'm afraid the only possible problem would be that Yahoo has chosen to block the e-mail from which we sent customer forms, but it is not a complete block (meaning some might get through, depending on content, et cetera)

on outlook the solution is to change the port to your incoming mail server from 110 to 995 and put a check in the box by use SSL on the advance tab.

This will fix the problem. Follow the other instruction for outlook off thier website and just make this small change.

I am using the Homewood email and not getting the form information. How is that fixed? I am not getting them at my email or my private email. Also how to I get my email in my outlook program? I can't find any instructions,

Hello charnel7193,

Since we do not host that particular email account we have no way to troubleshoot it. You'll need to contact your email provider. Also check any junk or spam folders to see if your emails are going there. it might be as simple as white-listing them.

Mike
