There were several emails that I did not receive yesterday but was told by support that email was slow but they were eventually getting delivered. However, there are at least a couple of emails I know that were never delivered and possibly more through my contact form from my business website. Please tell me if the email problem from yesterday has been resolved and when I will receive the emails that were not delivered yesterday.

When do they plan on having this resolved???? Mine just stopped working today as far as I know although I have not gotten many emails over the last few days.

Keeping my fingers crossed. I've had no rejects today and tonight my outgoing emails are going out and they are being delivered. Time will tell how many got lost, but tonight I will sleep a little better.

After reading Dave's post I decided that I would figure out how to separate my email account and set it up elsewhere. Thanks for the instruction! I managed to do it in between clients today. Now I'm just not sure how ill ever get prior emails back since they are locked up and my password is still considered " incorrect". There's another thread going with a lot of people who are complaining. Will Homestead listen? Small business doesn't need this type of crisis!

how can this be resolved if I can't login in to my e-mail account? I guess Homestead is just a bunch of amateurs trying to play in the real world. I've had it, I'm switching providers to someone who understands the word SERVICE. If it was not so serious it would be funny. I guess the only future for Homestead is as a Harvard Business School study on how to destroy your business in a week.

We have also experienced and issue with email. We are unable to reply to emails directly from our cell phones. We used the instructions provided from Homestead and we can see our emails but cannot reply. Please advise a solution.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Our company's email problems keep getting worse. Went from intermittent bounce back of sent emails to not receiving emails to now cant even log in to attempt to find out the latest problems. Worse thing is - nobody seems to give a s--t! When will the nightmare end? If the current "progress" continues most likely the next step will be all of our web sites crashing. Thanks for helping our company to lose 3 customers due to all the "fixes". I guess my kids don't need to eat this month.

As of right now our email accounts are both sending and receiving, we are able to log in to our email account and both send and receive for the 1st time in a couple weeks - Keeping my fingers crossed that this continues but I wont feel safe until it works for entire week. Of course I cant guarantee that I am receiving all incoming emails but I believe that we are.

I went to check my email and it does not show any emails been sent or received. The last email that I received was about an hour ago. I should have received 3 or 4 in the last hour. I tried to send a test email to my gmail account and it did go through but I am not getting an error messages from Microsoft mail. I have three email address:
msmith@swbuildingmaintenance.com
email@swbuildingmaintenance.com
smitty@swbuildingmaintenance.com

Hi Mike, this is a separate issue. Emails being added to the restore list are emails that seem to be completely missing from the account. I hope you find the information in this thread helpful.

Same here. Emails were being received at both my accounts up to about 3:00 EST, but now test emails being sent and PayPal shipping acknowledgments are not being picked up. No bounce and no error messages generated. Just not showing up. The two accounts impacted are

sales@harmonyremoterepair.com
Is anyone looking into this issue as well, beyond the blacklisting, password failures and missing accounts?

Emails delivered approximately 2 hours after being sent. All appear to be accounted for. Cautiously optimistic.

No it has not. I moved my email off of Homestead. Several Homestead email customers of mine did not. I can't receive their emails. Stop stating things that are not true. You are not aware of the whole problem. Do your research before you report of things.

Patti, you are correct. I've been busy working and after reading all the posts until yours, I had to stop to type and agree!!

I'm starting the move with email, ASAP. Can you please suggest to me who you moved to and what type of support they have?
-

I moved my MX records to point to GoDaddy. I will move my domain soon just too busy. You have to set up the email accounts with them first. Then they will tell you what IP address to point the MX records to. They have a phone number to call for support. Good luck.

So many other great tools you could use. I just found this comparison.
Take a look at this comparison cart for 2013 DIY website tools.

where does Homestead stand?...at the bottom.

What is going on? This is outrageous. How can I do business without email working reliably? This is a printshop and I am losing customers regularly due to the fact that they are not getting what they need because I don't know they need it!!! You cannot even imagine the damage that it is doing to a small new business like this!! Do you plan on re-imbursing the employees that I lay off for their lost jobs?

on outlook the solution is to change the port to your incoming mail server from 110 to 995 and put a check in the box by use SSL on the advance tab.
This will fix the problem. Follow the other instruction for outlook off thier website and just make this small change.

If incoming is POP3 then go to advance tab
change incoming port to 995 then check box SSL enable
you may need to restart outlook sometimes then reopen.
Hope this helps.

None of my emails are coming thru. Why can't they get this fixed. it is seriously impacting my business. I'm not a techy so I don't understand these email strings as to how to fix. My email account is with GoDaddy. Can someone walk me thru this workaround so that I can retrieve my emails from my customers?

ok James 3075. I have done what you recommended. Changed to 995 SSL and restarted. How soon can I get emails that I have been waiting for. This directly impacts my business so I need to get those emails that I have not received for the past 7 days. And what impact does this change (995 SSL) have to my other incoming email notes? I'm hoping this does not interrupt the flow of my other emails so that they are now not showing up. Please respond.

Ok just want to make sure we are on the same page.
This worked for homestead account emails (Intuit).
Ok you said your email is set up for POP3 setting then you set incoming server port to 995 enable SSL outgoing server port set for 587.
you should have received any emails right after the change.
As far as managing multiple emails with outlook.
This change should be done on the Intuit (homestead email account) so it only affects this one account.
If you have different email accounts from other folks like GoDaddy they should provide email setup information via their website. Email settings differ from company to company.
Again the impact of changing 995 should only effect that one account if it does not work change back to original setting. No harm done.

I found GoDaddy settings online see both links. First one shows what ports you can use and the second link shows a step by step screen shot tutorial.

I made the changes you stated and it seems to be working. I sent a couple of test emails through and I did get them. But, where are my other emails that I'm missing over the past 7 days. Where are they? My email is with domains priced right? I said Go Daddy but I was wrong. This particular email is with domains priced right.
thanks

You checked your junk email box or spam box? anything fall into there?

you forced the send and receive button on outlook several times. If you had a number of emails the last couple of days sent to you with big attachments on them it may take a little while for outlook to download.

Is this the link you checked your email from? Your emails my still be on the web-server. This link came from Domains Priced Right. See if you can login to link.

If you find your emails on the web-mail-server you can forward them again to your outlook now that it is working.

Any recommendations on another service to replace Intuit? This email issue is so embarrassing for our company. Not only do I not receive emails but we also have to call clients and ask if they have sent any recently....

I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE AN ADJUSTMENT TO MY MONTHLY BILL - IT IS OVER 20 DAYS OF ANGUISH, LOST PRODUCTIVITY AND LOST BUSINESS AND MISSED OPPORTUNITIES DUE TO YOUR INABILITY TO PROVIDE A PROPER EMAIL SERVICE.
This cannot be how INTUIT keeps small businesses running!!
