There were several emails that I did not receive yesterday but was told by support that email was slow but they were eventually getting delivered. However, there are at least a couple of emails I know that were never delivered and possibly more through my contact form from my business website. Please tell me if the email problem from yesterday has been resolved and when I will receive the emails that were not delivered yesterday.

This is scanedlous behavious. I have lost multiple emails this week and many that I sent have failed to reach their recipitent and yet there was no notice from homestead whatsoever to let us know of these issues. I hope they will be compensating us for our losses.

Still cannot send emails from hmail!

So far i have no problems receiving them from all of my apple accounts, but cannot send out to those same accounts!! please fix this, its embarrassing trying to run a business like this.

Suffering from the same issues here, some emails are not being received by our customers:

customers not receiving invoices = payments not being made = loosing money
customers awaiting information = frustration = customers moving away
customers not receiving our quotes = accepting competitors' quote = lost business

HELP !!! PLEASE !!!! ASAP !!!! PLEASE !!!!!

Emails not getting thru, we have lost potential and actual business in the past few days. Are you insured for this sort of thing? Do people get compensated for this sort of thing? Lost business and a day of my time trying to trouble shoot something Homestead should have notified us about. No very happy...

I just lost out on an $18k booking because the client did not receive our proposal sent on Sunday until yesterday evening. This is irresponsible of Homestead.

So, how about an update on the situation... I just spent 30 minutes on hold and hung up. It's pretty clear people (including myself) are missing multiple days of emails and are concerned about what's going on.

The time delay on receiving emails that I have copied myself on has increased dramatically. I am now waiting over 20 minutes to receive an email from the computer next to mine...why all of a sudden?

When accessing email on advanced (ajax) setting Web Client loading screen comes up, but never loads, standard (html) will load but when navigating from inbox to any other box I get a page that tells me to check Tool, internet options, securities, SSL TSL boxes are checked. Tried all that but no luck, still can't get mail

Since early this morning, not able to receive or send email. Missed several important messages this morning, as our publication ships over the weekend. Clients believed I was ignoring their pleas. I cannot rely on this email system. It was reliable for years, but not anymore. Could we please get a status report or something?

I keep getting an error "This page cannot be displayed when trying to view different pages in the email system. This problem is intermittent and doesn't consistently appear for a single task. I believe this is a system problem as my PC can't diagnose any connection issues. How do I fix?

Also, regarding the delayed emails. Will they all suddenly be "released" when the issue is resolved or will they just disappear to never never land?

Good questions. I hope to have more to share by the end of the day.

My understanding is that all emails that were in the queue were released yesterday afternoon. We don't expect any loss of email from the emails that were held in the queue.

Are you having difficulty receiving messages in hmail? From hmail? Please let me know so I can help troubleshoot. The delays we had been seeing were 5-30 minutes long and were delaying sent messages.

Well, whoever told you that emails from yesterday were released are misinforming you. I know for a fact that emails sent from an hmail account to a Time Warner account yesterday never got there at all. The same now is happing with Mac.com accounts being sent hmail - not getting there. Both companies say they are not blocking emails that it is on Intuit/Homestead's side.

And, they are still not going through today and today, mac.com actually bounced with that dreaded paragraph - but at least we know what happened. The other just go into cyberspace.

When I try to go to my email first it tells me that the sites certificate isn't valid. I click to continue and then when I get to the sign in page and try to enter it won't do it unless I click on the link to switch to the standard html version.
It has been this way for a while now and I didn't mind so much until now that I have a new computer using windows 8. Now when I try to open one of my emails (after all the other steps) it goes to an error page that tells me the page can't be viewed/opened. Come on now folks, you get my money every month without fail. The very least you could do is get things together. Now not only is it a pain in the butt to try and do anything with my web pages but I can't even check my email without a problem.

Most the time, when there is a major hack job on a company - like this that broke the news today "Spamhaus, a European nonprofit organization that works to block spam from the Internet, has been the target of an attack by CyberBunker for about two weeks now. " It gets on the news and everyone feels like they are in the same boat, and we are all more tolerant because it's not just happening to one of us, it's happening to everyone, so there is sympathy all around.

You guys have been so quiet about this, don't respond timely, don't send out a press release, nothing. The quiet is what has all of us angry. It makes it look like you guys don't know what you are doing. And, what is worse, it is hard for us to explain this to our clients and potential clients - it makes us look unprofessional.

Now, none of us will feel safe keeping our email with Homestead and will probably have to figure out an alternative, which will end up costing more money. And, what makes me angry about that is I'm already paying you guys for this service, because it's part of my monthly web hosting fee.

The attack on Spamhaus is not the culprit.

We had an account get hacked and send tons of spam. This got us listed on several blacklists which is causing some email providers to not accept emails from Hmail. We have been successful in getting ourselves removed from several blacklists but some just take time. Hopefully the ones that won't delist until 7 days are not used by many email providers.

What can be frustrating is not all email providers will tell you immediately that they are rejecting an email. Some will just quarantine the email and hold onto it to possibly deliver at a later date. I know some customers had that problem sending to Comcast last week- they sent the email on Tuesday which Comcast did not deliver until Thursday. For emails that "just go into cyberspace", most likely they fall in that category. The provider is correct: they aren't blocking the email, but they aren't immediately delivering it either. As we continue to be removed from blacklists more and more sent emails that were quarantined will be delivered.

We do appreciate everyone's patience in this. I want you to know that we are taking steps to make sure that one bad apple will not be able to spoil the bushel again.

THis is not fixed. Outgoing emails are being blocked as "abuse". The server is unreliable and must be fixed. Most of these email system are for business and you are delaying business activity. Is Homestead willing to pay for lost opportunity?? FIX IT NOW!!!

Unfortunately, this isn't a situation that can be fixed immediately. I will have another update tomorrow. We are sorry for the inconvenience and we are working to fix it as quickly as possible.

Absolutely ridiculous. Intuit prides and promotes itself as a business website provider. And now this. Intuit is now costing all our business customers and ultimately money. I should have suspected shoddiness when Intuit/Homestead reneged on my commissions for bringing them customers (by letting my Intuit banner go defunct, never fixing it, and never paying me money that I was promised per contract agreement). But, Intuit got the customers anyway. How do you think I feel after bringing all my clients to Intuit to build websites only to have email (their business/communication lifeline) join the list of Intuit/Homestead problems. I actually discovered this problem today as I was trying to set up a new website. Shameful! Now, I definitely have to search for a better host company for myself and any new clients. I've had enough.

I had words with Homestead last week - and was credited for a month .. a whopping $10 + ... the rep was nice enough I will admit. Ask for your credit. This is ridiculous. I understand 'stuff' happens and can forgive but the lack of communication is what pisses me off. I also understand that Homestead and Intuit are splitting ways VERY soon. At this point I do not trust either one to really stand by anyone but their shareholders.
