There were several emails that I did not receive yesterday but was told by support that email was slow but they were eventually getting delivered. However, there are at least a couple of emails I know that were never delivered and possibly more through my contact form from my business website. Please tell me if the email problem from yesterday has been resolved and when I will receive the emails that were not delivered yesterday.

Hi Maureen -

According to our Advanced Support team, the issue with emails not coming through is mostly cleared -- However emails from Comcast are still being hung onto by Comcast. Unfortunately, we don't have an ETA as to when they will release these emails, but are informed that they will do so and you will receive all the emails that were supposed to be delivered to you.

Sorry for any inconvenience! Once I have more info, I'll update this thread.

I still have not received the emails that I know were sent last week. This is a problem for my business and now I don't feel assured this problem won't happen again.

What about emails sent to Time Warner? THey aren't going through either - And, they say they aren't blocking emails.

And why do I continue to receive error messages like "webpage is expired" "this page cannot be displayed" and instructions on fixing my connection problems. Only have connection problems with Homestead so I don't think you can point the finger at the service providers. I have Cox.
Really frustrating when I cannot load anything but the HTML version and then get an error message every few pages when trying to clean up my inbox. Cannot operate my company this way - promises of fixing the email system have been going on for a while. When is Homestead going to actually do it?

I have several domains with email addresses added. I am recieving no emails at all from these which is completely frustration. This is a Zimbra system attached to Homestead.

None of my emails are being sent to any addresses or received from any address. I need this fixed asap! is there anyone working on this?

Some of my outgoing email does not reach intended recipients or is delayed.This has been going on at least a week. A Homestead rep I spoke with Friday (two days ago) checked into the issue and told me there were a "few" such known instances. I ran another test two hours ago and forwarded an email from my Homestead account to my personal yahoo account. It hasn't arrived. The bottom line is that I can't count on anything I send arriving, which is disruptive to my business.

It's obvious from today's postings that the email problem (delays and non-delivery) has had an impact on many Homestead customers. It would be nice if we heard something from Homestead recognizing the urgency of the problem and apprising its customers as to prospects of a solution.

Joel your message in another thread where you said "I'm not interested in picking an emotion to describe how I feel" may be the funniest thing I have read in a while. I agree with you on needing an update from them. I called in and got directed to this thread ... which doesn't provide any answers on what will happen with the messages that were sent ... if and when they will ever be delivered and the incoming messages that have not been received ... are those ever going to arrive?

Same problem here. Except that some actually did get downloaded to iphone, but not to the PC and are not in Zimbra mail. iphone is set up correctly to "never" delete anything from server. Not sure how many emails were not received at all by either device.

I guess we are all talking this out amongst ourselves? Is there a IT pro from Intuit monitoring and responding to this thread?

It would seem that we are indeed talking this out amongst ourselves. This is seriously screwing up my business and so I am looking at moving my email accounts to GoDaddy who is the domain registrar. Only problem is that I can't figure out how to export my contacts and messages from my folders. Logic would tell you to just forward the messages to a yahoo or gmail account ... but since sending is unstable that is out of the question I am stuck and looking for a resolution. Anyone know how to bulk export messages from folders --- without having to send them one by one and crossing your fingers that they actually get delivered? The end of the month is critical for us and we need a reliable email client.

Ditto, big problem since we're a law firm - several client emails not received, several opposing counsel emails not received and they see that as ignoring them. Very, very serious issue here.

Intuit - what is going on? Can someone please tell us what is happening? I'm hitting the unhappy face button!

I'm very sorry for all of your frustrations. One of our employees became unavailable- and we missed it. hat's why it hasn't been updated or monitored by us. I apologize that I missed it. I am following it and will provide updates as they come in.

Our admins are still working on fixing the slowness and blocked IP addresses. A couple things I want to mention:

Here is how you can export contacts to a .csv file.

You can also back up emails to another location.

Finally, I posted an update about the importance of email passwords.

The root cause of the slowness and blocked IP addresses are hacked accounts. We are sorry for the impact this has had on all of you and we are working to get it fixed as soon as possible.

I am experiencing problems today as well. Some emails are received immediately; some are delayed and some are disappearing into the ether. THIS IS IMPACTING MY BUSINESS.

How can you forward email when I cannot even get into my email? When will this be fixed? This is unacceptable....this has being going on for over a week? I am losing money!

Hi Tracy, your situation is different because your email will need to be reinstated. Unfortunately, your email account was hacked over the weekend and used to send spam. I'm going to have an agent call you tomorrow if the number listed on your account is valid. We'll work with you to get everything sorted out. Please let me know if that will work for you. I've just discovered that emails sent FROM me to my clients have not gotten through since yesterday - and they're STILL not getting through. PLEASE HELP! I have to re-invoice multiple clients now and have been on the phone calling to find out who successfully received my emails and who did not. This is out of control and impacting my effectiveness as well!

Hi Eileen, We're actively working on sorting out this problem. Emails are being delayed because we have to check to make sure spam is not being sent. Those emails are in a queue. I'll update this thread when I receive confirmation that the emails in the queue are being released. We're very sorry that this is impacting your effectiveness.

That's ridiculous Angela, Your company is holding our emails up while you work out what you think is spam and what isn't??? In the mean time legitimate customer emails are not getting through to our businesses. I have been with homestead for 12 years. You did this once before many years ago and I almost left your company. Now in 2013 you are doing it again... I can handle my own spam mail and delete them thank you

Unfortunately the spam is being sent from hacked hmail accounts. We need to make sure that spam isn't sent and further impacts other hmail customers. I hope to have an update very soon and I'll update this thread when I do.

We're still having email problems as well. We are an architecture firm and communication with our clients is essential. Time sensitive emails are not being delivered. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! We are thinking of changing service providers. It is ridiculous that this has been going on so long.

One of you needs to get the emails working. I'd think that you could set up a temporary email server or something. Poorly run company that is unwilling to fix the issues in a way that might cost extra money--I guess there aren't enough customers being affected for you people to give a spit. Again, I want to say how very sorry we are for the inconvenience and frustration. We have identified the issue and have been working on a resolution.

Unfortunately, it does take time to get off the blacklists that we're currently on. Emails are being sent but if your email is being block by the recipient, we don't have a workaround for you, yet. Our team is working hard to fix these issues and come up with alternatives (like re-routing email through other email servers) as well as getting our IP addresses removed from the blacklists.

I will continue to monitor all of your posts and will be providing another update ASAP but no later than tomorrow morning.

Angela, Im sure you will understand for those of us who run our business through homestead that this situation is unacceptable but what really frustrates me is that homestead failed to notify us that they were experiencing issues and left us completely in the dark to the fact that people were not recieving our email.

How can I access my email once again through outlook 2011 on an iMac? I have been down since Thursday of last week and nothing provided in this community has worked. Only access I have to email is through my cell phone and it can not be connected to wifi or it will not work. Please advise!

Sorry isn't cutting it anymore, we NEED some action! This is beyond unacceptable, and we are being told that you're working on it...REALLY??? Working on it for almost a week and still NO resolution!?!

We deserve a solid answer on what is being done and WHEN this issue will be rectified. We are running businesses that depend on communicating in a timely and absolute manner and this Intuit issue has become an issue impacting our business reputations.

Automated call, text, e-mail (!), posting on the web-page for customers -- that's how you can let subscribers know there are issues with the e-mail. This is ridiculous. My e-mails are being rejected, just had a proposal sent on Sunday delivered this evening - Tuesday. I cannot rely on this system anymore. No one at your company cares or you would be far more proactive in updating your customers. Get your act together. This is absurd.
