emails are not syncing with computer or cell phones

I am deleting emails from the outlook and they are not deleting from the actual email account. So when I log into the account, the emails are still there. This is clogging my emails, and I have to log into the Roundcube account and delete them from there again..should not have to delete from anywhere

Hello,

Depending on what type of email connection you have set up with the 3rd party email, it may require you to have to log into Roundcube to delete emails off the server. If you set up the connection as an IMAP account this should sync to the server so if you do delete an email from that email client it should delete from the server as well. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/email-client-settings If it is set up as IMAP and it not syncing look at the account/folder settings and make sure is is set up to delete off the server.

Hello Michelle, This is always set up as iMap and yes it is set up to delete from the server.....this is why I am confused about this....suggestions?

Other than making sure the setting is selected, unfortunately I would not be able to diagnose why it wouldn't delete from the server automatically.  It may be beneficial to reach out to outlook support and see if they have additional information about setting the account to up delete from the server.

I am not 100% sure on the location of that setting in 365, Microsoft support can point you in the right direction. https://support.office.com/en-us/Search/results?query=delete+mail+from+server&src=as
