I have my email working now, but imap email is so slow it is hanging up outlook every time I move from one folder to another or one email account to another in outlook.

If it works, then you obviously have it configured correctly. Slowness would typically be caused by heavy network or server traffic, or some sort of bottleneck. If the slowness persists let us know.

someone sent me an email last night about 1:30 a.m. and it still hasn't come through. That happened two days ago also, took over 24 hours to come through

How are you checking your email? with the web client? or a desktop email program?

Depending on some of the configuration settings, it may not be pulling the data from the servers. We have not seen any of the slowness that you are describing here.

I have the same issue. Takes forever to switch folders in Outlook. Ever since the changeover it has slowed down to the point where it is almost useless.

Can you clarify the issue here? How is your Outlook configured? IMAP, or POP? and is the slowness with moving items from one folder to another? Please describe. Thanks

If you are using the web client, it does have a short timeout by design, which is for security reasons.

Using Outlook as my e-mail client, super slow downloading after the upgrade. Like go get coffee while e-mail downloads slow. POP configuration.

There is an awful lot going on with the servers during the migration. Also, if this is the first connection since migration, you may have a load of files on the server that will download again.
