Email no longer sends

I cannot send email from any of the accounts that I have, but I do receive them. Does not send from my computer or phone. I need to correct his immediately, it has been that way the whole day.

What programs are you using to check email? If it is Outlook, make sure to include the version number.

It took me a while to fine the email account info on your Website, but apparently you (Homestead) changed the email account parameters as they are now different than what I had. I was able to update the email accounts and fix the problem.

I do not remember any notification of this change. This is not the first time I have experienced this problem of changing parameters without notification from you guys.

We did not turn anything off, but we did make an upgrade for you to use if desired. The old settings should still function. If they are not, there may be something else causing the issue. The new settings are simply new recommended settings. Unlike the past, you can now send using the secure settings, which is an upgrade, but we have not discontinued the use of the old insecure settings.

I just tested the old settings with Outlook 2013 and was able to send. I will see if I can find what might influence this for some and not others. I do not yet know if there is a plan to discontinue the old settings, but if there is, I am confident we will send out an email prior to that happening. We would also announce it here in the community.
