This is the second or third time I've written to ask for help with fixing the text in mobile, when it doesn't work like it does in the desktop version. Both times I got answers that were not clear to me. I have been trying to do this for months, and it is a big time-waster. What I need is step-by-step instructions - not fast paragraphs that use jargon that I don't understand. For example: I don't know what you mean by drop-down; I don't know the difference between the express menu and the advanced menu. Telling me to do one or the other is useless to me when I don't know what you are referring to. I've been with Homestead since 2000 - they used to do this with instructions. BTW, I have printed out the articles on this, and I've watched the YouTube videos. It still is not clear to me. Thanks.

To allow mobile custom style to work, you will need to make sure you use the option to change font type, size and color under the style settings (more>advanced> style> and click the settings cogwheel). If you do not use this option  it will lock the mobile from allowing customizations on that end and will reflect the desktop.
