Duda Mobile Site Editor says in order to redirect the mobile version you must copy and paste a code they give onto the homestead website under page setting > advanced settings > <head>
which I did a week ago and "went live" with both the mobile and homestead sites, but the mobile version is still not being redirected even after purchasing the duda mobile editor.

Hello,

When I pull up your site on my phone, it does pull up a duda mobile site. It is possible it is caching on your end, or your phone is set up to pull the desktop version of your website? I would make sure that setting is turned off.

The problem is that it doesn't show any of the edits I have done through Duda-- it just shows what automatically generated, but none of the links go to any of our actual products or anything. It does not redirect to the site that we purchased through Duda.

I see. The only thing I can recommend is to re-publish from the Duda account and republish on our end. Unfortunately, after that I really don't have any way to troubleshoot, because I can see that the code has been added to the site properly on our end.
We do have a new builder, Website BUilder, that can make mobile friendly sites without having to use a 3rd party company like Duda Mobile. Have you thought about rebuilding your site on that platform?

Is that a separate account/fee to use Websitebuilder?

It is not a separate account and with the plan you have, it is also not any additional charge. It would just be the time it takes for you to build it. I highly recommend looking into that. You would just need to log into your Homestead account, click on Websites Manager and there will be a button in the top right corner that says "Add New Website"
This new site will automatically be created using this new platform.

So I'm now trying to use Websitebuilder, but because our first website is the same name it won't let me create it. In order to change the name I would need to buy a whole new domain, which we don't want to do.
So I thought I would just delete the old website to create a new website, but I can't delete the old website because it has a domain attached to it and I can't change the site association until I create a new website, which I can't do because the domain name is being used by the old website.
All I want to do is create a new website using WebsiteBuilder and using the domain I already own.

You do not need to purchase a new domain to start using the newer builder. You just need to give the site a temporary name while you are building the site. This name will end in .homesteadcloud.com. Once you are done building the site, you can switch your domain over.
